Jeans for Genes help disorder-specific charities and patient support groups deliver inspiring projects and services for children who are affected by

It is estimated that one in 25 children is affected by a genetic disorder and therefore 30,000 babies and children are newly diagnosed in the UK each year.

Some genetic disorders are diagnosed at birth while others are diagnosed at different stages throughout childhood, and into adulthood.

All the funds raised on Jeans for Genes Day provide grants for charities, enabling them to provide day-to-day support, equipment, nursing and patient services.

The funds also go towards events which bring together affected children and their families.

This year Jeans for Genes day is on 23rd September.
