Friends of the Elderly aspire to a society where all older people are treated with respect and have the opportunity to live fulfilled lives.

For over 100 years Friends of the Elderly has responded to the changing needs of people and society. They are committed to providing excellent care and support for older people and meeting their needs wherever they can. Their work is about ending the loneliness facing isolated older people and bringing them joy.

Their mission is to support older people especially those in need due to physical or mental frailty, isolation or poverty. They do this by providing high quality caring services, personalised to the needs of the individual and integrated with local communities.

Friends of the Elderly offer a wide variety of services including residential care homes, nursing care homes and dementia care homes. Their day clubs, home support, home visiting, telephone befriending and grant-giving services help older people to stay in their own homes and remain active in their local communities.

As most of us will all get old some day, please help this great charity by donating your cartridges and mobile phones to help them continue funding their great services.
